Girls Mentoring Summit 2023 Recap

Monday, July 31st, 2023-Friday, August 4th, 2023

A time for young girls to come together, build healthy sisterhoods, and discuss important topics while preparing for the start of the new school year. Adjust Your Crown, Inc partnered with Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs through the City of East Orange, bringing young and educated college level women, whom were graduates of schools in East Orange, an opportunity to give back to their communities through mentoring.  This moment allowed young girls to work on social skills, patience, and creating boundaries, at the same time challenged with coming out of their comfort zones.

Our young ladies explored Turtle Back Zoo located in West Orange, NJ and It Adventure Rope Course in New Haven, Ct.
